So, I watched Waitress the musical on Max yesterday, and now I’m spiraling because how have I never seen this before? It was brilliant. Like, Sara Bareilles is a genius, the songs are pure magic, and the whole thing made me feel all the feelings—laughing one second, crying into my snacks the next. And now I’m mad at myself because I could’ve seen it live, but I didn’t, and that’s a regret I’ll carry forever. Okay, maybe not forever. It’s just one of those shows that grabs your soul and makes you want to bake pies and sing about your problems. Ugh, why am I like this?
