Plan
I had a plan. An actual plan! Save $20,000 by December 30, have my mom cosign on an apartment, and finally find a place to call home. After Oliver!, I was almost halfway there! Then came the unexpected plot twist. SeaWorld, after years of working there, didn't hire me back. No explanation, no response, just silence. And suddenly, a huge part of my financial plan disappeared. I'm still working, designing The Mikado and stage managing The Santa Switch, but apparently bills, groceries, and gas didn't get the memo that I'm trying to save money! So that December goal is looking less like reality and more like a Broadway fantasy. And it hurts, because this wasn't just about money. It was about stability, independence, and finally having somewhere I belong. I know life doesn't always follow the script, but seriously, can we stop rewriting Act Two? I'm exhausted, and I'd really like a happy ending for once.
