Determination

Lately, I feel like I'm holding together an entire musical with equal parts determination, caffeine, spreadsheets, and sheer force of will. There are costumes to fit, scenery to build, sponsors to thank, schedules to update, props to track down, and somehow I'm still expected to remember choreography and blocking. Some days it feels like I'm carrying a hundred different responsibilities at once, and yet when I look around the room, I see a show that is actually coming to life. The sets are taking shape, the costumes are coming together, the cast is growing stronger every day, and OEA Theatrical's very first production is becoming something real. I have an incredible team helping make it happen, but I'm also realizing it's okay to acknowledge how much I've poured into this. I'm tired, I'm stressed, and there are moments when I wonder how it's all going to get done, but I'm also genuinely proud of what we've built. A few months ago this was just an idea. Now we're days away from moving into the theater. That's something worth celebrating.
