I started watching Disjointed on Netflix, and it immediately took me back to the days when going to a dispensary felt like an experience—before everything was prepackaged and overly commercialized. There was something special about walking into a shop, seeing the jars of fresh flower, and actually getting to smell and inspect what you were buying instead of just picking from a menu of sealed containers. It’s crazy how much things have changed—legalization brought convenience, but it also stripped away some of that old-school charm. And yet, while some states have sleek, high-tech dispensaries with touchscreens and reward programs, others still have people sitting in prison for the same thing that’s now a booming industry. The contrast is wild.
