Fine

Just watched The Starling on Netflix, and wow—Melissa McCarthy was so good. We all know she’s hilarious, but this was next-level. Honestly, it’s one of her best performances—funny, heartbreaking, and just real. It hit hard because, let’s be honest, pretending you’re fine when you’re anything but is an art form. You laugh, you crack a joke, you tell everyone “everything’s great!” while a tornado of emotions swirls inside. Not because you want pity—just because you don’t know how to explain it. So, you keep going, hoping that one day, the pretending won’t be necessary anymore.
