I just finished Season 3 of Loudermilk on Netflix and, naturally, immediately Googled it—turns out, there’s going to be a Season 4! The show is such an interesting take on addiction, group meetings, and the messy, complicated lives of the people in them. It definitely reminds me why I’ve never loved AA—something about the whole setup has just never been my thing. But then again, I guess I do attend a group meeting every week, which is kind of similar, except ours is led by a professional who actually gives us worksheets on coping with life instead of just telling us to turn everything over to a higher power. So, you know… same concept, slightly less cult-y vibes.
