We've built the cast, started rehearsals, learned music, blocked scenes, painted scenery, created schedules, and poured countless hours into bringing OLIVER! to life. The show is shaping up to be something really special, but now comes the part that every producer worries about: raising the money to pay for it all. The reality is that ticket sales cover less than half of the production costs, and without sponsors, donations, and program advertisers, all of this wonderful craziness we've been creating could be in vain. I have faith in this cast and our amazing families, though. If everyone reaches out to just a few friends, family members, coworkers, or local businesses, those efforts can add up quickly. The talent is there, the passion is there, and the show is going to be fantastic. Now we just need the community to help us get it across the finish line. Here's hoping our OLIVER! family pulls through.
