Rain 2

It’s raining again this morning, and for some reason, that makes me sad. Maybe it’s the gloom, maybe it’s just one of those days. When my mom got up, she started telling me about the play she saw last night, which—just like the one she saw a few days ago—was all about family drama. She even compared it to The Real Housewives, which, let’s be real, we all know I’m obsessed with. But this one hit a little closer to home. It was about a woman who wrote a memoir (sound familiar?), and her family basically threatened to disown her if she published it. Blah blah blah, more secrets, more drama—but honestly, the timing couldn’t have been better. Just last night, I uploaded my (yet again) revised memoir onto Amazon to publish. It’s been done for over a year, and I originally planned to release it back in October, but I didn’t. And now, with everything happening, it just feels like the right time. However it goes with my family… well, at this point, what more do I really have to lose?
