As we continue building OLIVER!, I find myself thinking about how grateful I am that I reached out to the Herman family and encouraged them to audition. From the very beginning, they were thoughtful, enthusiastic, and incredibly kind. Before auditions, they asked if we could do a group phone call so they could learn more about the production. They came prepared with questions, and it was immediately clear that this was a family that cared deeply about theater and wanted to be part of something special.

During that conversation, Jordan mentioned that he enjoyed choreography. After auditions, I asked him if he'd be interested in putting together a section of "Oom Pah Pah," and let's just say he delivered far beyond my expectations. While I've choreographed some of the numbers and staged many of the book scenes and slower moments, Jordan has taken on the large production numbers and helped elevate this show in ways I never imagined.

From day one, Jordan has been instrumental in shaping OLIVER! into what it is today. He has given this production far more than anyone could reasonably ask. Directing a musical of this size truly takes a village, and Jordan has carried a tremendous amount of that responsibility alongside me.

His talent is undeniable, but what I'm most grateful for is his generosity, commitment, and the genuine care he brings to every rehearsal. He has a way of making people feel supported while still pushing them to do their best work. The cast loves him, and this show would not be what it is without him.

Thank you, Jordan, for your countless hours, your creativity, your patience, and your belief in this production. I am incredibly grateful for everything you have done, and I cannot wait for audiences to see the remarkable work you've helped create.
