While watching Three’s Company this morning, a commercial for www.factsfightfentanyl.org kept replaying. I couldn’t help but laugh at how it was all about overdosing on fentanyl while people danced around in t-shirts labeled with drug names—real party vibes, right? They were encouraging people to visit the website, so naturally, I did. The commercial had this message about stigma, saying, "If you carry naloxone, it doesn’t mean you use drugs." I guess it’s trying to tell us a lot of people are into drugs, but honestly, it all just felt kind of odd. And then, to top it off, a bunch of Paris Hilton casino commercials kept popping up, which really made for an interesting mix of messages.
