Job

I have to be honest, this one stings a little. I recently applied for a job that I am not just qualified for, but genuinely overqualified for, and it is work I know I could walk into and do well from day one. What makes it harder is that this is not some random situation, they know me, they know my work, and they know what I bring to the table, and yet not even an interview. No conversation, no chance to connect, just a pass, and that is really not cool. I am all for people making the best choices for their teams, but it is frustrating when experience and history do not even warrant a conversation, especially when you already know what someone is capable of. Anyway, onward, just needed to say that out loud.
