It’s a pretty disappointing feeling when the job you’re at doesn’t really appreciate you—like, at all. The whole place is a completely disorganized mess, yet somehow, management blames everyone but themselves for the chaos. There’s no real room for advancement, no path forward, just an endless cycle of treading water in a place that isn’t going to take me anywhere but there. At least the people are nice, and I get free admission and a bunch of food hookups, which has definitely been a perk. But with everything coming to an end soon, it’s hard not to feel like it was all just a temporary distraction rather than anything truly worthwhile.
