Yesterday I took a day trip to Universal with Reagan, a girl I met working at SeaWorld and then at Six, and somehow we managed to do the entire park in what felt like a single caffeine fueled blur. Six hours. Everything. Rides, shows, wandering, snacking, existing. I am still not sure how.
There were basically no lines anywhere. We sampled Butterbeer and I had a Giant donut, because that is non negotiable, popped into a few shops she bought a Toothless backpack, and talked nonstop the entire time. The kind of talking where you forget you are walking, standing in lines, or even in public. She is one of those people who just keeps up. Thought for thought, joke for joke, no pauses.
Afterward, we headed to the Madame Tussauds rooftop for happy hour, because clearly we were not done yet. Then it was back to San Diego belting show tunes like we were auditioning for absolutely no one. By the time we got home, we had no voices left and zero regrets.
She is completely my kind of girl. And yes, I would absolutely do it all again even with my inner thigh rash from Jurassic Park wetness.
