Unity

While I was in San Luis Obispo, I drove past my old building—Unity—the place that housed my theater company for eight years. I knew there had been a fire long after the building was sold, but seeing it in person was something else.

There was nothing left. Just an overgrown lot where I used to spend so much time creating, laughing, rehearsing, building sets, dreaming big.

It hit me harder than I expected.

So many memories lived in those walls, and now it’s just… gone. Strange how places can disappear, but the impact they had on your life never really does.

RIP Unity. You were more than a building. You were home. 💔🎭
