Stuck

Yesterday I had my annual review with a clinician at East County Mental Health, and it hit me how much hasn’t changed in the past year. I’m still stuck.

And now that the show is over, I’ve realized I’m even sadder than I was before—because I really do miss a life I used to have. It’s been so long, and I know I’ll never get that version of life back.

These past few years have taken so much spirit out of me. And today, I’m just sitting with that.
