I was asked to do a little promotional video talking about my set design for The Mikado, and OMG, I had no idea how difficult it would be to just talk to a camera! I did it over and over and over again. I didn’t like how I sounded, didn’t like how I looked, forgot what I wanted to say, started over, watched it back, hated it, and did it again. Finally I just said, “Okay, this is as good as it’s getting!” LOL. It’s funny because I can get onstage in front of hundreds of people and be completely fine, but put me alone in front of a phone camera talking about myself and apparently I lose my mind. Anyway, it’s done, I sent it, and now I’m trying very hard not to watch it 47 more times and pick myself apart!
