It’s my birthday today—cue the confetti, the caffeine, and the cake-induced sugar coma! I’m celebrating with The Wizard of Oz cast, which honestly feels pretty perfect. I ordered a cake from Costco (because obviously, giant cake = giant love), and I still need to pick it up, grab some plates and forks from the dollar store, and find a knife that doesn’t look like it belongs in a horror movie. I posted last night inviting all the SLO folks to meet up at the Madonna Inn’s fabulously kitschy Silver Bar after rehearsal, because nothing says “birthday” like pink décor and cocktails that sparkle. So... let’s see who shows up. It’s messy, sweet, a little last minute!
