Morning

My mom was up at the crack of dawn with me today—apparently quitting her sleeping pills has turned her into a morning person. So naturally, we went to Denny’s. After breakfast, the heat outside was basically “hell’s sauna,” so we both surrendered and took naps like retirees in Boca. A few errands later, I started feeling sick (probably karma for thinking I could be productive), so I made dinner, plopped on the couch, and now I’m conserving energy for work tomorrow.
