Mistake

It's been 10 days since I had surgery to replace all my teeth with fake ones because my natural teeth were practically falling apart. I thought it would be like one of those TV makeovers where you walk out with a perfect smile. But it’s been anything but that. The first couple of days were manageable, but since then, the pain has been off the charts, leaving me with brutal headaches and constant discomfort. I've already been back to the dentist three times this week, and now they tell me there's an issue, and I need another surgery next week. Honestly, I feel like I’m on an episode of Botched. To top it off, I’ve got a lisp now and can’t eat, so maybe I’ll drop a few pounds. But seriously, I’m starting to think that chasing this “perfect smile” was a huge mistake.
