Italiano

I was thinking about my family today — especially the Italian side — and how, at this point, most of them don’t even speak to each other anymore. Same goes for me and my dad. He moved out to California during the pandemic, and now I haven’t spoken to him in over three years… and he lives less than a mile away. It’s pretty sad how that happens. But I guess stubbornness and the need to be “right” always seem to take priority in families like mine. Funny how that Italian fire runs deep — even when it burns everything down.
