My gambling addiction has been more insidious than any other craving I’ve ever had. Although I have been lucky enough to win many times, the money I win just goes back in right after. It’s like I can’t help but lose every penny I own at the casino. When I first went to outpatient rehab, I rolled my eyes when they talked about their gambling addictions… yet now here I am, understanding how hard it is to break free from this horrible habit.
