Explode

Friendships don’t always explode. Sometimes they just… fade. You stop calling. They stop checking in. And then one day you realize it’s been six months and they didn’t even know something big happened in your life.

No screaming. No slamming doors. Just quiet distance and the ghost of someone you used to laugh with.

And it hurts in this weird, invisible way. Because how do you grieve someone who isn’t technically gone? Just not there for you anymore.
