Emotions

Being in SLO has stirred up so many emotions that I’m not even sure how to describe it. I feel everything all at once—joy, nostalgia, overwhelm, sadness, hope. It’s like a week of therapy without actually having any therapy. Tomorrow we’re running through the entire show after staging everything over the past nine days, and then I’m heading home for a few days. Even though I’m not thrilled about the long drive, I know I need the break. This whole experience is bringing up way too many memories of when I was homeless, living out of my car, constantly in motion and never feeling settled. It’s hard, and it's all hitting me at once.
