I hardly slept last night, but woke up this morning with my mind still racing from tech. After texting with our director, I sat down and typed out this message to our stage manager in hopes it might help tighten things up before we open:

Hi Annalissa,

Being backstage and watching last night’s set changes unfold was honestly tough—even though things were much improved overall, I wanted to share some thoughts that might help things run more smoothly.

I texted Justine this morning, and she encouraged me to pass these notes along to you, so I’m including her here as well. I'm absolutely not trying to overstep—just hoping to help make the show the best it can be!

Let me know if you’d like to walk through any of these notes together or if anything is unclear. I know we’re down to the wire, but with a few more timely calls and by executing key transitions behind a black traveler—even if it’s not ideal—I think we can keep the flow tighter and avoid those moments where the audience is just watching the set move.

Hopefully these small tweaks help tighten everything up while keeping the magic alive.

P.S. Crew should be in full blacks for these transitions.

If followed with a complete breakdown of EVERY scene change
