So this guy at work told me today, “Be careful who you talk to. Some people — even the ones you think are your friends — aren’t.”

And you know what? He’s right. Workplace friendships are like vending machines — you think you’re getting a Snickers, and suddenly it’s an off-brand granola bar with an attitude.

Moral of the story: smile, nod, and keep your secrets to yourself. Some people are better left in coworker territory, not confidant status. 🫶😏
