Brake

I woke up this morning from a terrible dream where I pulled the emergency brake and it broke off in my hand, the car rolling backward while I couldn’t stop it. It felt so real that I actually got up at 5 a.m. and went outside to check the car, only to realize there is no pull brake, just a small button. After that, I pulled out my dream book, which said that no brakes symbolize being out of control, danger, a warning to stop and examine a particular situation before moving forward. Sometimes the subconscious doesn’t whisper…it slams on the brakes for you.
