I was watching The Kardashians and Kim gave Khloé a bible from their dad, and she read a verse about how the tongue is a small thing but can set an entire forest on fire. So I looked it up. Interesting verse, even though it was not exactly what she read on the show.

It is wild how something so small can build someone up or tear them down. One comment, one rumor, one careless moment can change the whole tone of a day.

Words stick. They linger long after we think they are gone. And lately I am realizing how important it is to pay attention to who you let speak into your life. The tongue may be small, but the impact is not.
