Almost Done

Well, apparently miracles DO happen in theatre because I actually got to leave SLO EARLY today!  We got everything moved into the Grange, everything is where it needs to be, and somehow the Mikado set is already about 97.5% FINISHED. Yes, 97.5%. I’m keeping that last 2.5% because this is theatre and saying something is 100% finished before load in is basically inviting the universe to smite you. But we are WAY ahead of schedule, which is a sentence I’m not entirely sure I have ever used during tech week. Now I get a few days at home before we load into the PAC on Sunday and this whole crazy, colorful world finally gets to go onstage. I’m excited. I’m relieved. I’m suspiciously calm. Someone check on me.
