Yesterday turned into one of those unexpectedly fun days, all thanks to my SeaWorld friend Lupe randomly texting that she was near my place and wanted to hang out. We kicked things off at the mall with McFlurries—because why not? Then we hit a casino for a little spontaneous fun, followed by some shopping at the outlet mall. After that, we swung by the farmers market and grabbed a few groceries, which somehow turned into us cooking dinner together and baking a cassata di ricotta cake that turned out amazing. Nothing was planned, it was raining, and yet everything just clicked. So glad she reached out—it turned a quiet, gloomy day into one full of laughs, food, and great vibes.
