Pop

One of the people I’ve been working with commented on me saying “pop” instead of soda, and I was like, well… that’s what you call it when you’re from the Midwest. I told them I was from Indiana and they said they were too, and then it got weird in the best way.

We realized we literally grew up in towns right next to each other. They’re from the town where my grandpa had his radiator shop, which already felt like a trip, and then we both knew Ray’s Lanes. At that point I just kind of stopped because what are the odds?

It honestly felt like one of those little moments where my grandma was saying something to me from heaven. 💛
