Oz

There are so many emotions swirling around me right now while I’m here rehearsing The Wizard of Oz. It’s all hitting me harder than I expected. I’m not sure if I’m handling it well—there’s a lot going on, and it feels like I’m being pulled in a million directions. The highs and lows are intense, and some moments feel overwhelming. Doing the makeup, seeing old cast members from Kelrik, and rehearsing in the Grange—where I tried to make Kelrik’s new home—have all added layers to this emotional experience. And then there’s seeing old friends I haven’t talked to in ages, which brings its own set of emotions. On top of it all, I’m staying in someone’s house I don’t know, which feels a little strange. And I haven’t had a real meal in days, so that’s adding to the mix. I’m grateful for the opportunity, but sometimes it feels like I’m not quite keeping up with everything. It's tough trying to navigate all these feelings while staying focused on the show.
