Jinkx and Dela

After spending most of the day in bed, I finally got up, took a shower—or really, a bath—and shaved. I ate something around 5, then was scrolling on my phone when I realized it was Thursday and that the Jinkx and Dela Holiday Show was happening at Balboa Park. On a whim, I threw on some clothes and drove downtown, somehow finding a 30-minute parking spot until 6, which felt wild since San Diego meters now run until 8. I fully expected a ticket, but I was only a block from the theater, so I took it as a sign, walked to the box office, grabbed a seat, and went in.
The show was superb—cute, funny, and almost two hours long, which honestly surprised me. Jinkx and Dela completely rocked it, and I was genuinely so happy I went. The whole message of the show was about going around and spreading holiday cheer, and they absolutely did that. Knowing they’ve been producing this show for eight years, with Dela producing the whole thing herself, made it even more impressive.
